Our free guides, videos and other resources are for your personal use. You may not copy, sell, share publicly or pass them off as your own. Bonus offers and time limits may change or end at any time.
If you join a paid program, the price, payment terms and any refund policy will be shown to you before you pay, and those terms form part of your agreement with us. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by secure third-party processors.
Everyone's body, health and circumstances are different. We do not promise or guarantee any particular result, including any change in blood sugar, A1C, weight or health. Any stories or examples we share are individual experiences, not typical or guaranteed outcomes. Your results depend on many factors, including your own effort and your medical care.
All content we create, including text, videos, guides, graphics, logos and the Better Life Diabetic name, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use it without our written permission, except for personal use as allowed above.
We use and may link to services run by others, such as Zoom and payment processors. We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability.
Our services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, Better Life Diabetic and Richard Martyn are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, including any health decisions you make. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Alberta, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
